Bespoke wedding dresses, designed around you.
Some brides know exactly what they want. Others know only that they haven’t seen it yet.
BOE Bespoke is our made-in-the-UK bridal design service for brides who want something more personal — whether that means developing a completely original dress, reworking an idea you already love, or changing the shape, detail and finish of an existing design until it feels completely yours.
From the first sketch to the final fitting, the process is personal, considered and built around you.
Bespoke wedding dresses from £2,000.

Not off the peg. Not off the shelf. Yours.
A bespoke wedding dress gives you the freedom to stop searching for the dress that almost works.
Instead, we begin with you.
The silhouette you feel incredible in. The neckline you keep coming back to. The sleeve you wish existed. The train you want longer. The detail you want simpler. The bow you want bigger.
Your dress is developed through dedicated appointments at BOE Bridal in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, then designed and made here in the UK.
The result isn’t simply a wedding dress with a few alterations. It is a bridal look shaped around your ideas, your proportions and the way you want to feel when you wear it.
This is where the dress starts to become yours.
Some ideas begin with a photograph. Some with a neckline, a fabric or the way a skirt moves. Sometimes it is simply a feeling: cleaner, softer, sharper, more dramatic.
We use those starting points to explore shape, proportion and detail before the dress moves into production.
You do not need to arrive with a finished design. That is part of the process.

For brides who want shape, presence and a little drama.

Clean lines, beautiful proportions and detail that does not need to shout.

Soft movement, floral detail and femininity without feeling overly traditional.

A bow, a sleeve, an overskirt, an open back — sometimes one detail changes everything.
From idea to aisle.
Bespoke bridal should feel exciting, not intimidating. The process is collaborative, with dedicated appointments at each important stage.
- 01 / CONCEPT
Your first appointment
We start with you.
Bring photographs, saved dresses, sketches, fabric ideas — or nothing at all.
We will talk about your wedding, what you normally wear, what you love, what you do not love, and how you want the dress to feel.
This first conversation gives us the direction.
- 02 / FORM
The design
We shape the idea.
Silhouette, neckline, sleeves, train, fabric, structure and detail begin to come together.
This may be a completely original wedding dress or a customised version of an existing bridal design.
Nothing is changed simply for the sake of it. Every decision should make the dress feel more like you.
- 03 / DETAIL
Measurements & specification
The details are agreed.
Once the design direction is right, we confirm the specification and take the measurements needed for your dress.
Your gown then moves into UK production.
- 04 / FIT
Fittings
This is where it comes to life.
Your fittings allow us to see the dress on you, refine the fit and make the small decisions that can make an enormous difference.
Length. Balance. Shape. Detail. Proportion.
The aim is not simply for the dress to fit. It should look as though it belongs to you.
- 05 / FINISH
Your finished dress
Ready for its actual job.
Not to sit beautifully on a hanger.
To walk, move, dance, photograph beautifully and make you feel incredible on your wedding day.
Change a little. Change everything.
Bespoke does not always mean starting with a blank page. Sometimes the perfect dress is already nearly there. Depending on the design, we can explore changes including:
Necklines
Sharper, softer, higher, lower or simply more flattering for you.
Sleeves & straps
From delicate straps to full sleeves, statement volume or removable details.
Silhouette
More structure, less volume, added shape or a completely different proportion.
Skirts & overskirts
Create movement, add drama or give one dress two very different looks.
Back detail
Low backs, buttons, lace, structure, bows and statement finishes.
Trains
Longer, lighter, cleaner, more dramatic or easier to manage.
Fabric & texture
The material can completely change how a design feels.
Lace, floral detail & embellishment
From barely there to unapologetically detailed.
Detachable elements
Overskirts, sleeves and other details can transform the dress between ceremony and evening.
You are allowed to want something different.
Bridal does not have to mean predictable.
A dramatic sleeve. A sculptural bow. A sharp square neckline. An exaggerated train. A detachable skirt. Barely any embellishment at all.
Bespoke gives you room to make decisions because they suit you, not because they happen to be this season’s bridal formula.
If you have tried beautiful dresses but none of them quite feels like your dress, that is often where bespoke becomes interesting.

Closer to the process. Closer to the dress.
Your bespoke wedding dress is designed and manufactured here in the UK.
That gives us a much closer relationship with the process from concept through to completion and allows your gown to develop through proper fittings rather than being treated as a standard order with changes added afterwards.
For you, that means a more personal experience and a dress with decisions made deliberately around the finished result.
Bespoke wedding dresses from £2,000.
The final price depends on the design, fabric, construction and level of detail involved.
We will talk openly about budget at the beginning of the process so that the design develops in the right direction from the outset.
There is no obligation to arrive knowing exactly what you want — but it is helpful to know what you would like to spend.
Bespoke might be right for you if…
- You have tried dresses you love, but every one of them needs “just one more thing” changing.
- You have a clear idea in your head but cannot find it in a bridal collection.
- You love elements from several different dresses and want to bring them together properly.
- You want something cleaner, more unusual, more fashion-led or simply more personal.
- Or you have no fixed design at all — you just know you want a dress that feels less expected.
Bespoke, answered.
- How much does a bespoke wedding dress cost?
- BOE bespoke wedding dresses start from £2,000. The final price depends on the design, fabric, construction and level of detail involved.
- Do I need to know exactly what I want before I book?
- No. Some brides arrive with a very clear idea; others have photographs, fragments of inspiration or simply know what they do not want. Your first appointment is there to help establish the direction.
- Can you customise an existing wedding dress design?
- Yes. Bespoke does not always mean designing from scratch. Depending on the gown and construction, we can explore changes to elements such as neckline, sleeves, skirt, train, back detail and embellishment.
- Where are the dresses made?
- Our bespoke wedding dresses are designed and manufactured in the UK.
- How many appointments will I need?
- A bespoke gown requires dedicated appointments through the design and fitting process. The exact number will depend on the complexity of your dress and the work involved.
- When should I start the bespoke process?
- Earlier is always preferable because bespoke design and production naturally takes longer than ordering a standard gown. Contact us as soon as you are considering bespoke and we can advise on timing for your wedding date.
- Can I bring inspiration images?
- Absolutely. Bring photographs, Pinterest saves, dresses you have already tried, fabric ideas or anything else that helps explain the direction you are drawn to.
- Is bespoke only for very unusual wedding dresses?
- Not at all. Bespoke can be dramatic, but it can also be beautifully simple. Sometimes the most bespoke part of a dress is getting the proportions, neckline and fit exactly right.
Maybe the dress you’re looking for hasn’t been made yet.
